ALLOUAQUI DANCE THEATRE
DELICIA SEFIHA & XAVIER DE SANTOS
PHYSICAL THEATRE: BODY & IDENTITY

THE WORKSHOP
Drawing from the performance language and creative processes of our dance theatre practice, this workshop focuses on movement and choreographic exploration.
Participants are guided through physical and theatrical tasks that introduce key approaches used in our most recent work, KOKONA, with an emphasis on curiosity, play, and embodied research.

THE COMPANY
AllouAqui Dance Theatre creates work that shifts between real and surreal worlds, blending movement, sound, visual, and theatrical elements to bring characters to life - characters who question their realities and push their boundaries. Our practice is continually shaped by a drive to explore contexts that spark bodily curiosity in an intrinsic, instinctual manner, and by a fascination with telling stories of unexpected journeys and tragicomic protagonists.
Delicia Sefiha and Xavier De Santos began their collaborative practice ten years ago and have since created various works, experimenting with theatre, site-specific, and screendance pieces. In the last decade, AllouAqui has presented work at multiple venues, platforms, and festivals, collaborating with artists, universities, and community companies across the UK and Europe.
